About Us

We believe that design should be beautiful, contextual, and intentional. We see immense potential in the built environment and the eternal optimists in us strive to make the world a better place through design.

Our work results from a deep understanding of our clients coupled with an appreciation for each project’s unique context, environment and history. We design with a research-based approach, studying a place’s history and nature, with the goal of creating a project that is timeless, personal, and well-functioning. We see our role as our clients’ partners and believe that the best product is a result of true collaboration.

Sustainability is integral to our practice. We are Passive House certified and consider the quality of the air you breathe just as important as the materials we choose. We are experienced in building environmentally-conscious details and believe that buildings should help to foster health and longevity.

We are also realists and love to see projects come to life. We will take you to the finish line. We get in the weeds, working closely with contractors, fabricators, and craftsmen to ensure that our collaborative vision comes to life in a realistic and optimal way. We care about building relationships and trust, and we believe that the success of the entire team leads to a successful project.
